Recharge
Marie is exhausted. But not done yet. She’s standing at a point many of us pass through: just before everything gets to be too much. The point where the system has long since decided that energy is something we’re expected to produce ourselves. More output. More passion. More commitment. Breaks can wait. But what if there were another way out? A moment where you get to decide for yourself what “enough” means.
In this dance solo, Marie sets off in search of the secret sources of energy — moments of pleasure, of flow, of being swept away. The things that give strength instead of costing it. She investigates where our energy actually flows, how it can be steered, and whether it can be shared, redirected, or even multiplied. Together with the audience, Marie opens the doors to a secret society: the society of those who keep meaning to take more breaks. Who know that everything that goes out must eventually come back. Who suspect that somewhere between productivity and procrastination, undiscovered reserves of energy are still hiding.
An evening as invocation. As expedition. As experiment. Step inside. You might just leave with more energy than you brought.
