Bodies of Capitalism: Acquired taste

Installation, Screening, Dinner

On December 4, 2022, Antje Velsinger/new trouble invited their audience to a three-course dinner at the Gewächshaus, Raum für kulturelles Wachstum in Hamburg. On the menu are artistic positions that deal with our scope of action as bodies in capitalism, as well as conceptual dishes from efficient to immoderate. The audience is invited to digest the served topics together in table discussions and to ask themselves related questions: Water or wine? Wellness or binge watching? What does your body do for you? If tomorrow were the end of meritocracy, what would you miss?
