The ecological crisis on stage?
Research and artistic approaches
How can artistic practices, research and productions approach the thematic complex of the ecological crisis? Which aspects can or should be worked on and staged? With what means? Which new approaches, which practices and what scope for action can artists develop? What responsibilities do artists see themselves confronted with? And to what extent does the confrontation with these topics influence their own ways of working and producing?
Within the framework of this lab, Antje Velsinger / new trouble invites three different artists who have dealt or are currently dealing with the ecological crisis and the above-mentioned questions through artistic research or stage productions. Within the lab, experiences, expertise and artistic approaches will be practically shared and an exchange about the different working approaches will be initiated.
