Mark Christoph Klee

Mark Christoph Klee (he/him) studied contemporary dance at the Amsterdam University of the Arts and works internationally as a performer, collaborating with artists and companies such as Stephanie Thiersch / Mouvoir (Cologne), CCNR/Yuval Pick (FR), LeineRoebana (NL), and Arno Schuitemaker (NL). Since 2018, he has been creating his own artistic work – often in co-creation with Coralie Merle and Jasiek Mischke as part of the collective Merle | Mischke | Klee – in co-production with K3 Tanzplan Hamburg, Theaterwerkstatt Pilkentafel Flensburg, Lichthof Theater Hamburg, Stadtgalerie Kiel, among others.
In 2020, he initiated the Tanz und Performance Netzwerk Schleswig-Holstein and has since co-directed the TANZPAKT project tanz.nord, which strengthens the dance scenes in Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg in cooperation with various partners. He also works as a production manager for the Cologne-based collective TachoTinta and the Polish choreographer Dominik Więcek.
He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Creative Producing at DAS ARTS (Amsterdam), focusing on curatorial practice in the context of community, art, and resources. His work has been recognized with the Art Award of the City of Neumünster and a scholarship from the Cultural Foundation of Schleswig-Holstein.
